Gifford, Florida · Indian River County

Web design in Gifford, FL, even when the mail says Vero Beach.

I'm Dennis Aguilar, and Top Three Web Design is my business in Sebastian. I build websites and Google Business Profiles for businesses in Gifford: websites from $800, a Google profile setup for $300, and every price published before you call. Because Gifford addresses read Vero Beach, part of the job is showing Google and your customers that you work in Gifford.

What makes Gifford different

Gifford has its own name. Your mailing address doesn't use it.

Gifford is an unincorporated community: the Census Bureau counted 5,511 people here in 2020, but there's no city or town government, and Indian River County, not a town hall, does its planning.

An address that says Vero Beach

Gifford Middle School sits inside Gifford's census boundary, and its address is 4530 28th Court, Vero Beach. Your business address probably reads the same way. If your Google profile and your website only say Vero Beach, neither one tells a customer, or Google, that you're in Gifford.

A community with its own history

Gifford's history goes back more than a century: in 1901, William E. Geoffrey donated land for a Black school here, according to two Florida historical markers. The county's updated Gifford Neighborhood Plan, approved July 15, 2014, is described by the county as a grassroots effort by the Progressive Civic League of Gifford, the County Commission and, most importantly, the people, community groups and institutions in the Gifford area.

Where the name goes

Local SEO for Gifford: name the community where people and Google can see it.

Keep your address exactly as your mail gets it, Vero Beach and all. Then make sure Gifford shows up in the places that describe your work: two you write, and one your customers write.

Your Google Business Profile

If customers come to your shop, the profile shows your address as it is. If you only go to them, set it up as a service-area business and hide the street address. Either way, mention Gifford in your description and your services. You can read how I manage Google Business Profiles, or do it yourself with my free profile checklist.

A page about the work you do here

Name the streets your customers know, like 43rd Avenue, 45th Street and 49th Street. Show photos of jobs you actually did. A place name dropped into a template tells a customer nothing.

Reviews that say where the job was

When a customer leaves a review, ask them to mention what you did and that it was in Gifford, in their own words. A review that names the job and the neighborhood is often worth more to the next customer than anything I write for you.

Who this works for

The businesses that get the most from this.

Some businesses need a full website. Some only need a finished Google profile.

Trades and home services

If you repair, clean, paint or build, a site that lists each service tells homeowners and landlords here what you do and where. See how I build websites for contractors and trades.

Barbers, salons, food and small shops

When a friend recommends you, the next person usually looks you up on their phone. Your hours, your number and a few photos of your shop matter more than a big site. That's often a Google profile and a small site.

Where I'd tell you to spend less

If most of your work comes from people who already know you, a finished profile and a steady flow of reviews may be all you need. I'll tell you that in the free check.

Before you hire anyone

How to compare web designers for Gifford.

Several web design firms have a page for Gifford, and they differ on whether they show prices and on how much they know about the area. Whoever you talk to, me included, ask these three.

Whose name is the domain in?

It should be yours from the day it's bought. Ask to see that in writing.

Can I see the price before the first call?

A designer who publishes prices can be compared. My prices are in the table below.

What happens to the site if I stop paying?

Ask about the site, the domain and the logins. My answer is in the questions further down.

The website and the listing

Web design and local SEO, done together.

I build the website and set up the Google profile at the same time, so the two say the same thing about who you are and where you work.

The website

Made for a phone first, with a page or section for your services and the areas you work. I also build sites in Spanish or in both languages; my diseño web en español page explains how. If you already have a site, my website redesign page starts with whether you need a new one at all. You can see sites I've built on my case studies page.

The Google profile

Set up or cleaned up to match the site: the same business name, phone number, services and areas. I choose your categories by checking what the businesses ranking above you use.

The months after

After the build, the site needs hosting. Care covers hosting and upkeep, and Local Visibility adds asking customers for reviews, answering them and ongoing local SEO. Or you can pay a hosting company yourself.

What stays yours

If you ever leave, you keep the site, the domain and every login.

I put these terms in writing before you pay.

Ask me about these terms: (772) 999-1354
  • Your domain is registered in your name, not mine.
  • You get every login, from day one.
  • Monthly plans are month to month, with no contract.
  • There's no fee to leave, and nothing to pay to move the site or the domain.

Published prices

Web design in Gifford: the same prices as everywhere else.

A Gifford business pays what a Sebastian or Vero Beach business pays. Every price is on my services page, so you don't need a sales call to find a number.

OptionPriceWhat it is
Google Business Profile setup$300, one timeYour profile set up properly, with no monthly plan attached and no website required.
Starter website$800, one time3 pages, built for the phone first, with your Google profile set up and connected.
Professional website$1,500, one time7 pages for a business with several real services to explain.
Premium website$3,000, one time10 pages for a business competing in a crowded market.
Monthly plans$150 to $1,000 a monthCare $150, Local Visibility $300, Growth $600, Authority $1,000. Month to month, no contract.

The one-time price is the build. Premium includes copywriting; the Starter and Professional listings don't, so ask me about the words before you buy. After the build, a website still needs hosting, and the domain, which is registered in your name, still needs renewing. The Care plan, $150 a month, is the only hosting price I publish. If you'd rather pay a hosting platform and a domain registrar directly, those bills come from those companies, not from me. Each plan's full list is on my services page.

Gifford questions

What people here ask.

Is Gifford part of Vero Beach?

No. Gifford is an unincorporated community in Indian River County, and the Census Bureau counts it separately. Its mailing addresses say Vero Beach, but the county, not the City of Vero Beach, does its planning.

My address says Vero Beach. Can I still show up when people search for Gifford?

You can give Google what it needs to connect you. Keep your address as it is, name Gifford in your profile's description and services and on a page of your website, and ask customers to mention Gifford in their reviews. No one can promise you a spot on the map, and I won't.

How much does a website cost in Gifford?

The same as anywhere: $800 for 3 pages, $1,500 for 7 or $3,000 for 10, one time. A Google profile setup on its own is $300. After that, hosting and the domain renewal are ongoing costs; the Care plan at $150 a month covers hosting.

What happens to my site if I stop paying you?

You keep the website, the domain and every login. The domain was in your name from the start. If you cancel the Care plan, you'll pay a hosting company directly instead of paying me.

Do I need a website, or is a Google profile enough?

Not always. Sometimes the site is fine, or there's no site yet, and the Google listing is the whole problem. That's $300 once instead of $800 and up. Send me your business name and I'll tell you which one makes sense.

Do I need a business tax receipt in Gifford?

The Indian River County Tax Collector collects the local business tax from businesses in the county's unincorporated areas, and Gifford is unincorporated. Since your mailing address may say Vero Beach, ask the Tax Collector which receipt applies to you. The Tax Collector's page also says a home-based business there must get a Home Occupation Permit from the county. I explain the county receipt in my post on the Indian River County business tax receipt.

Can my website be in English and Spanish?

Yes. Spanish is my first language, and I build sites in Spanish, in English or in both, written properly in each language rather than machine-translated. My diseño web en español page says more, in Spanish.

Free, no obligation

Let me check how your Google listing shows up in Gifford first.

Send me your business name. The check takes me about ten minutes. I'll tell you if your profile mentions Gifford, what it's missing, and if a website is worth paying for yet. You get the answer whether you hire me or not.
