Service areas · Treasure Coast & Space Coast, Florida
Where I work, and what each town is actually like.
I build websites and do local SEO across Florida's Treasure Coast — and I'll drive an hour without thinking about it. But a list of town names isn't much use to anybody — so this page tells you what's genuinely different about competing in each one. The numbers below are measured, not estimated, and they're the reason I don't hand every business the same advice.

Local SEO on the Treasure Coast: these towns are not equally hard.
I went through the businesses currently sitting in the Google Maps results across the Treasure Coast and counted what they actually have. The gap between markets is bigger than most people expect, and it should decide what you spend before anything else does.
| Town | Size | What makes it different | How hard |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sebastian | ~27,800 13.7 sq mi |
Largest city in Indian River County — bigger than Vero Beach, which surprises most people. Compact enough that one listing reaches the whole city. | Easiest |
| Fellsmere | ~5,100 | 77.9% Hispanic, median age 32 — twenty years younger than its neighbors. Very little competition for map rankings. | Easy |
| Vero Beach | ~17,900 city +30,800 in Vero Beach South |
Oldest market on this list. Buyers read every review and phone before they visit. The most established web designers on the coast are here. | Harder |
| Palm Bay | ~140,000 88 sq mi |
Too large for one listing to cover. But only about a third of leading contractor and electrician listings have structured data — an open technical gap. | Depends where |
| Melbourne | ~87,700 | Hardest, and entirely category-dependent. Leading restaurant listings carry over 1,400 reviews; general contractors sit near 20. | Category-dependent |
| Fort Pierce | ~52,400 | A working megayacht refit yard, and daytime population rises about 18% from commuting. Tightest budgets on this list. | Moderate |
| Port St. Lucie | ~260,000 Florida's 6th largest |
61% of the workforce commutes out daily, so customers search in the evening. Grew through separate master-planned communities. | Several markets in one |
| West Melbourne | ~32,500 10.9 sq mi |
Not Melbourne, and the city was founded in 1959 to make that point. Median household income is about 39% higher than its neighbor's. | Winnable |
| Viera | ~30,000+ East + West |
Not an incorporated city, so the name everyone searches appears on nobody's mail. Wealthiest market here, and 20+ national tournaments a year. | Wide open |
| Rockledge | ~32,200 13.2 sq mi |
Oldest city in Brevard, incorporated 1887. Full of long-established businesses whose reputation never reached anyone who arrived after 2020. | Moderate |
| Cocoa | ~20,000 135,500+ annual visitors |
Slowest-growing on residents, but Cocoa Village hosts 65+ events a year. The population figure badly understates the market. | Depends on visitors |
The trade matters as much as the town. Across Melbourne and Palm Bay, the leading general contractor listings carry roughly 20 and 33 reviews. Electricians run 45 to 76. Landscaping sits around 80 to 89. Restaurants are in the four figures. Tell me your trade and your town and I'll check where your category actually sits — that's a free ten-minute job and you keep the answer either way.
Eleven towns, eleven pages
Each of the eleven has its own page, with its own numbers.
Not the same page with the name swapped. Each was researched separately, and each says something different because each market is different.
Sebastian
Where I live. The only market where being close to the customer works in your favor rather than against you — and the county's largest city, which almost nobody realizes.
Read the Sebastian page →Vero Beach
An older, careful market that reads reviews properly and phones before visiting. Your real market is three times the city limits — and the city's own planning says that gap is widening.
Read the Vero Beach page →Fellsmere
Small, young and almost entirely Spanish-speaking. The whole city is an Opportunity Zone, and no other web designer on this coast works in Spanish.
Read the Fellsmere page →Palm Bay
Eighty-eight square miles, which is why you rank on one side of town and vanish on the other. Two thirds of leading contractor listings have no structured data at all.
Read the Palm Bay page →Melbourne
The most competitive market here, and it depends entirely on your category. I measured the review medians so you can see whether yours is winnable before spending anything.
Read the Melbourne page →Fort Pierce
A megayacht refit yard, yacht crews, marine trades and 9,700 daily commuters — none of whom can ask a neighbor for a recommendation.
Read the Fort Pierce page →Port St. Lucie
Florida's sixth-largest city, where six in ten workers drive out every morning — so your customers are searching at night, from the sofa, after a commute.
Read the Port St. Lucie page →West Melbourne
A separate city from Melbourne — incorporated in 1959 specifically to stay that way — with a median household income roughly 39% higher. Most businesses here market as Melbourne and pay for it.
Read the West Melbourne page →Viera
Not an incorporated city, so the name every customer searches appears on nobody's mail. The wealthiest market I work in, and 20+ national sports tournaments a year bring in people who know nobody.
Read the Viera page →Rockledge
The oldest city in Brevard, incorporated in 1887, and full of businesses that never needed to advertise. That worked until several thousand people moved here who aren't in anyone's network.
Read the Rockledge page →Cocoa
Under 20,000 residents and over 135,500 event visitors a year. In a walkable district like Cocoa Village, distance stops deciding the rankings — which means the free work wins.

If your town isn't listed, call anyway.
The eleven above have their own pages because I had something specific to say about each. Plenty of places I work don't — and that's about how much I had to write, not whether I'll drive there.
Indian River County
Gifford, Wabasso, Winter Beach, Roseland, Indian River Shores, Vero Beach South, Micco and Barefoot Bay. This is my home county — all of it is a short drive and I know the roads.
Brevard County
Malabar, Grant-Valkaria, Palm Shores, Melbourne Beach, Indialantic, Satellite Beach, Merritt Island and Titusville. Anything on this stretch is within about an hour.
St. Lucie County
Fort Pierce, Port St. Lucie, White City, Lakewood Park, River Park, Indian River Estates and Hutchinson Island. Different market from the north end, and the pages say why.
And further out
Two of the three projects in my portfolio were built entirely by phone and email — a clinic in North Carolina and an educator in Georgia. Distance isn't a problem. The only thing you lose is me turning up, and for local clients that's genuinely part of what you're paying for.
Same service everywhere
Web design and local SEO everywhere, at the same published prices.
No local discount, no out-of-town markup, no different quote for the bigger city. Every price is on the site with a buy button beside it.
Websites from $800
Three to seven pages of web design, fast on a phone, with your Google Business Profile set up, connected and working. See the full price list.
Google profile from $300
One time, no monthly plan. Categories researched against whoever outranks you, every service written out, service areas set properly. More on that here.
Or a trade-specific page
Contractors, plumbers, electricians, roofers and HVAC get their own page — including the measured review medians by trade. Web design for trades.
Questions about coverage
What people ask about the driving.
How far will you actually travel?
About an hour from Sebastian, which covers everything on this page comfortably. An hour on I-95 up here isn't the same as an hour in Broward or Miami-Dade — there's no traffic to speak of. If you're further out, most of the work happens by phone and email anyway.
Do you charge more for towns further away?
No. Every price is published on the site and it's the same for everyone. There's no travel fee, no bigger-city markup, and no local discount either.
Why do I rank in one part of my city and not another?
Because Google Maps weighs how close each business is to the person searching, and that isn't something anyone controls. It matters most in large, spread-out cities — Palm Bay covers 88 square miles and Port St. Lucie grew through separate master-planned communities. Your Google Business Profile service areas, categories and reviews are the parts of local SEO you can actually change.
My town isn't listed. Do you cover it?
Probably. The eleven with their own pages are the ones I had something specific to say about — not the limit of where I'll drive. Call and ask.
¿Trabaja en español en todas estas ciudades?
Sí, en todas. El español es mi primer idioma — las llamadas, el contrato y la página si usted quiere, sin costo adicional. Toda la información en español aquí.
Will you meet in person before I spend anything?
Yes, and I'd rather. Call or text and we'll find a morning. The free listing check takes about ten minutes and you keep the answer whether you hire me or not.
Free, takes about ten minutes
Tell me your trade and your town.
I'll check what the leading listings in your category actually have — how many reviews, what's on their Google profiles, what's missing from yours — and tell you honestly whether it's winnable. If it is, I'll tell you what to fix first. If it isn't, I'll tell you that instead.
